Metals
This resource consists of a self-study sheet and suggested practical activity. Students will:
- Use fully annotated diagrams to describe the structures of more than two metals and relate their structures to physical properties
- Carry out tests on samples of metals they have work-hardened, annealed and tempered. Compare the effects against control samples and write a report on their findings.
