The Framework Units

The framework units were three short readers with these titles:
*What is Science?
*What is Technology?
*How does Society decide?

Aims
They were written with three main purposes in mind:
*As background reading for teachers uncertain about the whole Science and Technology in Society (STS) area - thus serving as a general teachers' guide to the project.
*As a skeleton for constructing a course to be based on a selection of the shorter units in the four files.
*As a source of reading passages for students who want a broader view of some parts of the subject.
