Reception Summer Term
This resource aimed at the Early Years, provides two weekly plans which help support children in counting and addition. The objectives covered in the lessons include:
- Counting in 1s and 10s to 100
- Counting at least 20 objects
- Adding 1, 2 or 3 to any number to 20 by counting on,
- Estimating from a given choice or range
- Comparing sets of objects
- Using the language more and fewer
The detailed weekly plans provide guidance on running the activities, including guided tasks, associated play contexts and the resources required for each lesson. This resource, which covers the 2012 Early Years curriculum, has been provided by Hamilton Trust.
