Nana's chocolate milk

Act 1

A split-screen video is shown of two cups of chocolate milk being prepared. The one on the left shows Nana’s ideal mix of 1 cup of milk to 4 scoops of chocolate. The video on the right shows a mistake being made with 1 cup of milk being mixed with 5 scoops of chocolate. How can the cup on the right be fixed to give the ideal ratio of milk to chocolate?

Act 2

A double number line is given to help with working with the ratios.

Act 3

The answer is revealed in a video that shows an additional half a cup of milk and an additional scoop of chocolate being added to the cup.

Sequel

The sequel follows a similar format to the main problem. This time the ideal mix of eggs and flour is given as 2 eggs and 3 tablespoons of flour. What has happened is that 2 eggs have been mixed with 4 tablespoons of flour. The fix is to put in an additional 2 eggs and an additional 2 tablespoons of flour.
