Mentoring in primary science
This booklet was produced by David Coates and Judy Vause of Westminster College Oxford in collaboration with SCIcentre.
It provides practical help, mainly in the form of checklists, to enable mentors and student teachers to evaluate, discuss and improve medium-term planning, lesson planning and science classroom activities as well as the subsequent debriefing and action planning. Examples of student teachers' medium-term and lesson plans are included together with mentor responses to them.
