An introduction to primary mentoring

A major upheaval in the history of teacher training will take place when, from the end of 1996, all primary teacher education will be school-based, entailing the setting up of hundreds of mentoring schemes around the country. Classroom teachers will become "mentors" to the student teachers in their school. This book focuses on the process and content of these schemes, containing the practical materials relevant to the three core subjects, English, maths and science.
