Structured questions for GCSE mathematics: book 2

The National Criteria for Mathematics puts the emphasis firmly on the practical nature of mathematical understanding, and the need to be able to apply mathematical skills in everyday situations.

The questions in this book reflect that emphasis, concentrating on practical applications of mathematical principles.;The student is presented with common-place situations in which mathematics play an essential part. The questions are not contrived or artificial, and they aim to give students a feel for the essential quality of mathematics, namely, the ordering of the world about us.
