How to be an astronaut

A fast, fact-filled romp through the history of space travel, from early astronomers gazing at the stars, via the history of flight and the breaking of the sound barrier, to Armstrong and Aldrin walking on the moon in 1969.

The book is packed with full-colour artwork and lots of photos from the Science Museum's incredible collection, featuring early images of space, pictures of the earth taken from space and fantastic equipment used on the space shuttle.

Once up to date you will learn about what you need to do in the 21st Century to become an astronaut.
