Practical maths: a classroom pack

This pack provides practical maths activities for pupils across the five main areas of the National Curriculum: measuring, shape, ratio and scale, statistics, graphs and probability. In each activity, pupils deal with everyday objects and each has a clear objective and purpose.

The pack is divided into three sections: a guide to the pack for teachers, pupil activities and teacher's notes on activities.;Alan Graham is a lecturer in mathematics education for the Open University and Maureen Nichols is Project Officer for Nevis (Educational Database).
