Somerset thinking skills course: module 6 - patterns in time and space

This course was developed in response to research which revealed that many young adults are not equipped with efficient learning techniques. It appeared that these people were unable to explain how they learnt, why they succeded or failed, or to devise or employ strategies appropriate for specified learning tasks. Each module focuses on specific aspects of problem-solving processes, and have been put together in such a way as to cut across traditional subject boundaries and be applicable to real-life situations. They contain 20 photocopiable sheets with comprehensive teacher guidelines. The teacher's handbook outlines the history and theoretical framework of the course and offers detailed guidance on interactive teacher styles. This volume covers the topic of patterns in time and space.
