Building a body: cells, DNA and your changing body

Students find out how these amazing building blocks grow, die and reproduce to keep your body functioning and make you unique. From the hairs on their head to the tips of their toes and everything in between.

The body is broken down into different areas according to the jobs they do. One book looks at the vital organs, such as the heart or liver, while another looks at the amazing job the brain does and how it relates to the nervous system and helps us make sense of the world around us.
