Childcare & Early Years

These materials are provided by Cre8ate maths and are aimed at supporting the teaching of mathematics in the context of childcare.

The resources consist of Healthy Childhood, Keeping Baby Warm, Nappy Changing Challenge, Painting the Playground and Playground Design giving students the opportunity to experience mathematical principles in practice and include the ratio of surface area to volume, creating a maze, designing a playground, putting a nappy on to a toy doll and interpret complex charts.
