Nuffield Junior Science: Teacher Guidance

Teacher's Guide 1 for Nuffield Junior Science gives the educational philosophy behind the project and how this applies in the classroom. Teacher's Guide 2 provides examples in the form of extended cases studies of work completed in classrooms with children aged 5 to 11.
The Apparatus guide collects together a wealth of information, dating from the era of the project, about equipment for use in investigations and about living and non-living materials to investigate.

The project left it to teachers to make choices from what was offered. Teachers had little help from the written material with the creation of a programme that would ensure continuity and progression.
