In this series of videos from the Gatsby Foundation, Companies that employ apprentice technicians talk about how vitally important they are to the running of their organisations and the opportunities and training that they offer. Apprentice technicians talk about their work and their ambitions and what has enthused them in their roles. Managers, who were once apprentices themselves, describe their own progression - providing role models and support for the new generation.

The videos show that it is possible to progress and gain qualifications without needing to go to university and how well this suits some people.
