Year 4
This project allows children to set up a farm shop business and design, make and market a new lunchtime food product which uses dairy products. It provides a range of opportunities to enhance Year 4 National Curriculum for:
- Science; focusing on Plants, Animals, including humans, Everyday Materials, Working Scientifically and States of Matter.
- Maths; looking specifically at measuring (length and weight), estimating, money, basic fractions, data collection
- Design technology; allowing children the opportunity to design and make packaging.
