Starters for Science * Suitable for Home Learning*

Starters for Science consists of lots of easy to run activities suitable for children from 4-11.  Designed for use in school or at home they help children develop their science knowledge and skills within each topic area of the National Curriculum. They have been created to support teachers to ensure that any gaps in science knowledge and understanding may be filled in a fun and easy way.  Each sheet contains key vocabulary, key learning points and easy to resource activities that provide children with the stimulus to talk about the world around them. During the Covid-19 school closures, children in all schools may have missed science topics and may not visit them again until later in their education. With these sheets, a teacher can pick a topic from the previous year and use it to support learning with children in their class either in school or at home.
