Adapting Resources

Produced by the LSIS, this resource looks at how materials can be adapted to meet students' needs. It uses the example of a telecommunications activity to illustrate the point. A video shows how Mark, a teacher, was able to identify opportunities to further develop his own resources to support students doing work on telecommunications. This activity used a flow chart activity to compare mobile ISDN and fixed-line networks and help students understand their similarities and differences.

The materials in this resource include:
* cards to use for the telecommunications activity
* a card activity to help learners learn the two main telecommunication processes
* cards for the reflecting learning activity
* a checklist to help teachers and trainers plan projects.
