Construction - Build It!

From the Centre for Science Education, the RA3 project aims to bring parents together with their children and teachers to explore the worlds of science and technology.

The aim of this activity is to help children and parents think about the area they live in and how it could be improved. They work together to design and make new buildings or features which would improve their local area. It includes an activity which helps to promote an understandning of electrical circuits, switches, motors and bulbs.

The activities cover aspects of science, design and technology as well as geography.
