Runny Liquids

Produced by The Centre for Industry Education Collaboration (CIEC), these resources help to put curriculum science in a real life context. Children consider the properties of liquids in the context of a company which produces a thick, sticky liquid that needs stirring and transporting.

The activities provide an opportunity to learn about the properties of liquids and try a range of tests including classification, investigating viscosity and the effects of warming.

The activities are supported by extensive teacher guidance and children's activity sheets.
