Unit 3D Photograph Frames and Art Unit 4B Take a Seat
From the Nuffield foundation this report describes a project in which design and technology unit 3D:Photograph Frames was linked with the Art and Design unit 4B:Take a Seat.
It provides a detailed account of how the students developed a photo-frame and chair structures for a famous person, and shows examples of varying levels of performance.
This case-study report will be of particular interest to primary teachers delivering design and technology and art.
