STEM Careers Information, Advice and Guidance
Produced by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this document describes a project to improve STEM careers information, advice and guidance in the Post-16 sector. Detailed case studies from this project can be seen in the corresponding collection Progression Through STEM. The case studies describe work done by practitioners to support learners’ progression from school to college and on to higher education or employment. This document describes the project and summarises activities at four colleges. It presents some of the key learning points for the sector and includes links to further resources. Some reflective questions are provided to assist institutions to examine their own information, advice and guidance provision.
