STEM Careers Review 2010

This review of STEM careers, led by John Holman, was funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation in February 2010. The review covered provision of STEM careers education, information, advice and guidance in England. The report focused on secondary and further education, but recommended the need to commence careers related work from an early age. It also considered how careers support for this age group fits within an all-age service

The report made fifteen recommendations for improving access by students and their parents to high quality information and guidance on STEM careers. Some of the recommendations were to the Government and its agencies, some to the careers guidance profession, some to the STEM community and some to independent funders.
