Survival
This resource looks at the control and maintenance of body temperature in the context of surviving extreme conditions. Students are challenged to investigate a variety of different survival techniques for a casualty in cold water and evaluate which is most effective. They then examine the costs associated with each method and consider whether this should have an impact on the survival equipment onboard RNLI lifeboats.
