This scheme of work is intended as an introduction to Autodesk Inventor. It is aimed at students aged 11-14, but is also suitable for students working up to and including post 16 dependent on experience.
The “Scooter” project teaches a range of fundamental Autodesk Inventor skills through a range of project-based activities and tasks. During each lesson, students complete New Learning tasks relating to parts and components of a scooter product. Following on from this, they are given Apply tasks so they are able to demonstrate their learning in a different design context.
This project provides a gateway to Autodesk Inventor, dveloping the following skills:
*2D Sketching, Constraints and Dimensions
*Extrude & Revolve
*Patterns
*Lofting
*Sweep
*Rendering
*Planes
