Time and Money

This resource, aimed at early years and lower primary, contains an interactive spreadsheet designed to illustrate teaching points on the topics of time and money. Ideal for use with the whole class at the start or end of a lesson it provides screens on the following:

Days of the week recognise days of the week and place them in correct order.

The clock set specific times on a clock in order to tell the time.

Coin/note recognition recognise coins and notes (UK currency).

How much select the value shown by the coins.

Make 5p/10p/20p make 5p and 10p and 20p with different combinations of coins.

What’s left simple worded problems involving money, children choose an answer from three possibilities.

Money problems explore different ways to make a sum of money(1p-20p).

This resource has been provided by the Virtual Textbook. It is part of the Geometry and Measure sub-collection, which contains many further curriculum linked interactive spreadsheets.
