Number Types
This series of interactive excel sheets explore different types of number. This program provides pictures of some of the common sets of integers, click on the title bar to reset each diagram to zero.
The first sheet helps counting up to 18 by displaying the natural numbers. The following two sheets demonstrate even and odd numbers.
The fourth sheet displays the first 10 square numbers, the fifth sheet looks at the first 12 terms in the sequence of triangle numbers.
The next sheet looks at the rectangular numbers between 4 and 50.
The final sheet contains a 10x10 number square in which all of the sequences explored in the previous pages can be highlighted.
Note:
This program was designed to be viewed on a screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768. Users may have to adjust the resolution of their screen for the pages to display as was originally intended. The program uses macros which need to be enabled on the users machine.
