Inverse Functions

Inverse Functions. Linear
This file starts with an example of how to find the inverse of a linear function. New examples can be generated and the graphs of both functions are shown on the next sheet. The next interactive sheet shows sets of linear functions for students to find the inverses. These are also shown as graphs. The final sheet shows sets of equations to solve involving composite as well as inverse linear functions. Answers can be revealed and new sets of questions generated.

Inverse Functions
This file illustrates functions and their inverses. It begins by showing graphs of linear functions with their inverse and the line y=x. Then other functions are used to illustrate the reflective symmetry of the curves. They include sine, cosine, tangent and exponential functions.
