GCSE astronomy coursework – guide to observing the night sky and observing log collection

Produced by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, this collection of resources provides guidance on how to observe the night sky. Suggestions of features of the night sky to observe link closely to the Edexcel GCSE astronomy coursework. Further links to supporting documents and demos from Stellarium and the Met Office are included. A log that allows a record of observations to be recorded is included. Teachers may find the collection useful as an introduction to students completing the Edexcel GCSE astronomy coursework. Teachers of extra-curricular astronomy activities at key stage three may also find the guidance included useful.
