Sorting process with flow charts
This resource from the IET Faraday programme, supported by MEI and Tomorrow's Engineers, provides students with the opportunity to explore the properties of quadrilaterals using flow charts.
"Flow charts show the order in which a series of events is to be carried out. They are used for lots of purposes including; programming micro-controllers with instructions, mapping processes and sorting."
The resource includes a presentation that introduces the task, as well as a series of questions for students to explore. The activity overview includes classroom notes, discussion points, extension activity suggestions, answers and details of the curriculum content covered. The resource also includes an activity sheet for students.
