Number bond garden
This resource focusses on addition bonds. Four equilateral triangles are grouped to create ‘petals’ and students are challenged to place the numbers 1 to 9 in a way that ensures each triangle has numbers where the larger number is the sum of two smaller numbers. This resource is an extension of the ‘Space Ship Bonds’ puzzle. There is an extension task where the 9 circles are linked together in the form of a fence. The resource is suitable for Key Stage 2 students.
