Coke v Sprite

Act 1

A video shows two equal sized glasses, one contains Coke, the other Sprite. A pipette of Sprite is removed and mixed with the Coke. A pipette of the Coke/Sprite mixture is removed and mixed with the Sprite. Which glass now contains more of its original soda.

Act 3

The situation is modelled by using a cup full of red checkers to model the Sprite, and black checkers to model the Coke.

Sequel

What if the sodas didn’t mix? What if you used oil and water? Would that change the answer?
