Yellow Starbursts
Act 1
A video shows two packages of Starbursts being opened. The first shows one red and one yellow. The second shows two yellows. The person opening the packets doesn’t like the yellow sweets. A pile of Starburst packs is shown. How many have exactly one yellow Starburst? How many have two yellow Starbursts?
Act 2
More information is revealed. There are 287 packs in the picture, there are four possible colours, a graphic shows the frequencies of each colour.
Act 3
A speeded up video shows the 287 packets being opened. In this instance, there are 23 packets containing 2 yellow Starbursts, and 113 with 1 yellow Starburst.
