Blindfold maze

This STEM activity supports pupils to follow a set of verbal instructions to successfully navigate a maze made from tables whilst blindfolded. Pupils will understand the importance of clear instructions when instructing others and to be able to use mathematical vocabulary such as whole, half, quarter and three quarter turns to describe position, direction and movement. This activity supports the Year 1 Geometry curriculum and is provided by the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology).
