RADAAR framework - How I teach enzymes

This infographic guide to teaching 11-16 year olds about enzymes uses the RADAAR (research, anticipate, diagnose, address, assess, review) framework developed by the Best Evidence Science Teaching (BEST) project based at the University of York.

The infographic highlights key vocabulary, and common misconceptions in this topic area and how to correct them.  In addition, it highlights how models can be used to support conceptual understanding and gives examples to demonstrate how enzymes work. It also gives ideas on how to assess pupils' level of understanding and whether they continue to have misconceptions.
