Design a place setting for a party

Designed for key stage one pupils, let their imaginations run wild as your class or child designs and creates a place setting for a street party, birthday, charity event or any other celebration. This simple activity allows space for teaching about place settings, left handed eating and basic measurement skills, singly or in a team. Designed with learning in mind, this activity allows children aged four to seven to apply basic maths skills, as well as opportunities to practise with a ruler, as they work out how much space is needed to sit and dine together for a party banquet. All of these themed activities are designed with flexibility and ease in mind, making them easy to follow and suitable for learning in school or at home.
