Movement of the Moon

- Identify the shapes that the Moon can appear to be.
- Describe how the shape of the Moon appears to change over time.
- Describe the movement of the Moon each month.
- Explain how the position of the Moon in its orbit determines the shape it appears to be.
The resources include details of common misconceptions and a summary of the research upon which the resources are based.
