Parachuting presents
Pupils will learn about materials and forces, including gravity and air resistance, in this experiment from the IET. Using Christmas as an opportunity to get practical, pupils are challenged to engineer a parachute to safely land presents from Santa. The activity provides detailed guidance and can be carried out in the classroom or at home. There is also an extension activity of a maze puzzle provided.
