This is one of a series of resources from the IET designed around the theme of the future of flight with the purpose of developing pupils knowledge and skills in engineering and design technology.
This resource explores the problem caused by birds in the vicinity of airports and aeroplanes and pupils are tasked with thinking of ideas to prevent bird strikes. Pupils will develop their analytical and researching skills, and then be able to apply these to the given design situation.
