Make a pyramid
This is one of a series of resources developed by the Institution of Engineering and Technology inspired by the achievements of the ancient Egyptians. It uses pyramids to teach about 3D structures, scale and volume and structures made from nets.
Pupils will use a net to build card pyramids of varied sizes then calculate the volume of their pyramids and consider how scale affects volume.
