Career cards
These career cards have been designed to be used alongside a presentation with 9 to 11 year olds to raise their awareness of the range of STEM careers open to them, career opportunities available in industry and the advantages of studying STEM subjects when they are older. The resource includes instructions for using the cards, a pupil facing presentation as well as the downloadable career card set.
Each set of cards is based around four employees from Johnson Matthey. For each employee there are six cards comprising of
- Name and photograph
- Job title
- What do you do in your job?
- What did you enjoy at school?
- What do you need to be good at for your job?
- What are your hobbies?
