Basic OpenOffice.org: writer

This book helps students at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 to quickly and easily get to grips with 'Basic Writer for Star Office' in a fun and motivating way.

'The Basic for Open Office' series will help teachers and parents to give children a head start in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. It is suitable for whole class, group and individual teaching these books are divided into a series of lessons that gradually introduce the fundamentals. Each chapter is carefully designed to clearly show students how to perform various tasks that they can follow at their own pace with minimal teacher assistance.

Technical vocabulary is gradually introduced to enable ease of communication. It is ideal for children aged 8-13 and a useful introduction to new ICT teachers.
