Animals and Plants

Covering the "Life processes and living things" attainment target of the science National Curriculum and complementing the "Human body essentials" title, this book features 28 photocopiable activities on the subject of plants and animals. It is aimed at National Curriculum Key Stage two and Scottish Levels C-E.

The accompanying teachers' notes provide a suggested extension activity to keep the activity open-ended, background information, explain the purpose of each activity, give general advice on classroom organization and safety issues, suggest follow-up ideas and highlight links with the Scottish 5-14 Guidelines and the Northern Ireland science curriculum.
