Formula one maths: C3

Formula One Maths is a unique and carefully structured course designed to fully cover all programmes of study in the new National Curriculum for Maths at Key Stage 3. The course also gives complete coverage of the Key Stage 3 National Strategy Framework for teaching mathematics: Years 7, 8 and 9. Incorporating the ideology behind the National Strategy, Formula One Maths gives a new, exciting and interactive approach to maths at this level.

The textbooks present mathematics in both new and familiar contexts, encouraging students to explore the topics and concepts. Mental strategies and relevant skills are developed, and activities and tasks throughout enable students to question their approach and understanding.

The combined use of Formula One Maths student book C3 and the support and extension sheets in the Teacher's resource will give complete coverage of NC levels 7 and 8, with some revision of level 6.
