A way with numbers: a practical start to improve numeracy skills

This is the second stage in a Basic Skills Certification Initiative involving the Department of Education Training Agencies and BBC "Continuing Education". It is intended to increase people's numeracy skills and ties in with a series of ten motivational TV programmes. The book is closely linked with the material covered in each programme and section headings match the programme titles. The text is accompanied by practical examples, with the answers provided
