Children and mathematics: a handbook for teachers (mathematics in primary schools part 1)

This book was originally published by the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA). The writing and consultative team members were all practicing teachers and advisory staff, with a wide range of experience in teaching mathematics to primary age children both in in and out of London. Since its publication, this handbook has been of great use to teachers throughout the primary school.
