Get ready for the computer: book 1

The three pupils' books in this series follow up and extend the materials in Pre-Computer Activities, the popular book for teachers.

Children will enjoy and learn from the additional graphics in the correct colours and format for computer 'sprites'. They will gain skills and confidence in many aspects of simple modern technology, though no activities in these books need an actual computer.

Pupils who have enjoyed the 'serious play' involved will be ready for a computer as soon as they meet it, and will approach it with a better understanding than those who come unprepared.
