Integrated tasks: science CD-ROM (year 4/p5)

Nelson Thornes' Integrated Tasks offers a match to the update of the QCA Scheme of Work, providing a series of discrete tasks designed to develop pupils' ICT capability in English, Mathematics and Science.

These easy-to-use tasks offer opportunities to develop newly learned ICT skills and consolidate established ones. They can be planned and used flexibly to meet the needs of your pupils.

The CD-ROM contains:

  • Whole class resources: interactive resource for the whole class - ideal lesson starters!
  • Project diary pages: activities used to consolidate or assess skills or to plan the computer task; the interactive pages include a variety of activity types.
  • Data files: prepared files covering all major software brands (e.g. Microsoft, Granada, RM); the data files can be opened, edited or saved on each PC or on the school network.
  • Skills sheets: complement the data files and offer simple step-by-step instructions for children requiring additional support with the required ICT skills.
