A manager is not required to be an expert mathematician but they, and all those concerned with the major problems in any business, should be in a position to appreciate in what ways operations research can and cannot assist them. Operations Research includes chapters on statistical methods linear programming, game theory, queuing theory and Monte Carlo simulation.
