Design and technology 14-16: control products (D and T routes)

This is one of five focus area books for Key Stage 4 students in design and technology. This title takes a look at systems and control. It is designed to encourage student autonomy by providing guidance on study skills and managing projects, and it emphasises the manufacturing processes, highlighting the differences between manufacturing single items and in manufacturing in bulk.

It contains design and making tasks, and technical support for more advanced design and making skills. The "D&T Routes" series is supported by a teacher's resource and there are four other focus area books. They are suitable for students of design and technology GCSE short courses, full courses, and GNVQ Manufacturing (Intermediate) or the vocational equivalent
