Beyond the wendy house: sex role stereotyping in primary schools (schools council programme 3)

This pamphlets were published as a indicative of the programme's interest in reducing sex differentiation in schools. It describes the range of stereotyped practice that can be experienced by boys and girls during primary education. The author assembles research evidence and school-based practices to present a compelling argument on the effect of this stereotyping at an early age. Her recommendations on good practice are both sensible and workable for teacher.
